The Seven Articles
The seven articles to the constituion went into to detail on how our government was going to work. Each article explained a different aspect of our government.
Article I
Article I deals with the Legislative branch and explains how people are elected to the two houses, and lists what congress can and cannot do.
Article II
Article II deals with the Executive branch, and explains how leaders are elected and what powers they have.
Article III
Article III deals with the Judicial branch,
Article IV
Article IV gives all states the same privliges as others, and requires all states to respect one another.
Article V
Article V explains how ammedments can be made to the constitution.
Article VI
Article VI explains that the constitution is the law of the land and over rides any other document.
Article VII
Article vII tells how the constitution would be ratified.
